TrippyDoo is a place for people to discover and share amazing travel experiences that will inspire and help your travel planning.

What We Do

This project was born out of own frustration when making travel plans – there are so many online resources out there that you need to check, that a fun experience like travel planning turns into a real burden. We decided that something must be changed; someone should do something about it to ease the process and bring the fun again into the travel planning.

Therefore we decided to create TrippyDoo out of our own pocket, and in January 2010 we released the first (beta) version. At this point we’ve developed only about 15% of the whole project, and we look for your constant feedback to be sure we’re on the right track.

But more then that, we count on each and everyone’s travel knowledge from past experiences to collectively build the best place for travelers out there. And create our travel plans faster & better.

Who We Are

We are a young, small team from Bucharest (Romania) working on the project. We gave up our daily jobs and other projects, and we’re dedicated into creating the best possible travel experience for you. Why? Well, simply because we and our friends are trying to make the most out of the weekends and vacations, and we need TrippyDoo too. Yeah, yeah, we know it’s an economic crisis’n’all, but hey! You only have one life!

Here’s a bit about the team:

Daniela Lepus: Founder, managing about everything for the moment. Into experiential traveling. Daily coffee maker and simplicity fan, responsible for some design too.

Andi Chirita: Experienced web developer and web stuff addict. Plan to travel more and share the experiences on the most friendly platform out there.

Alin Popescu: Developer, Amazon cloud specialist and TrippyDoo superfan.
