Magical things

I guess we all are looking for the perfect place at the seaside, with little or no people around, some services (like accommodation & food) and just relax. Well, for me this place is called Portita, and is just a sand line between the Black Sea and the lakes that link to Danube Delta.

Add the pleasure of all that in a place with no cars, and there you have it: perfect!

How to get there

Usual drive to the seaside from Bucharest - highway, then a few km more, and you make a left in the main junction and go through Dobrogea, not Constanta. The road is ok, but you'll need to adapt speed to the villages and this will slow you down a bit. Your drive ends in Jurilovca. From here you cross the lake (1 hour by regular boat, 20 min by fast boat) and you're there.
