I'd recommend this destination for:
What I liked
The usual small streets and the beach, which unlike Nice was sandy in Cannes. Of course, I can't forget the luxurious yachts that people were enjoying in the bay - some of them had crew, too!
What I didn't like
Well, can't say we stayed a lot in Cannes, but after Nice it felt somewhat ordinary - a smaller Nice without the old city center, and no plazas, large streets by the beach to walk by. Also, the streets are hilly, and both driving and walking is less pleasant.
