After seeing the Gorges du Verdon (Verdon Canyon) we drove towards Saint Croix Lake - a lovely artificial lake where you could rent a boat and enjoy the beach as many tourists did. As the lake ends this beautiful, small, flowery village begins - Moustiers Saint Marie. No cars are allowed in the village, and for good reason - there are so many small shops and things to see that the cars are better off parked outside. The village also has a XII century cathedral you can visit.
What I didn't like
I wish the vacation had more days so I can stay here... forever :((((
Moustiers Saint Marie is well known for its lovely ceramics that you can see in my photo gallery. About the pics - I tried, but it was useless. No picture made justice to the beauty of the nature, architecture, village. And so I left my camera and memorized the sights. And it was better.
